What Kimkins Debate?

A few days ago the page on Kimkins.com that was formerly called Controversy was rewritten and renamed The Kimkins Debate. Actually, this title is used for the link on the homepage. It seems to me that someone decided that controversy was a bad word. Maybe Heidi imagined people looking at her front page and seeing the word controversy. She imagined them doing a search using that word.

A search using the words ‘Kimkins Debate’ does not contain many of the more prominent sites that have played apart in exposing the fraud, yet. There are a few interesting sites that I haven’t had the chance to read that show up on a Kimkins debate search, mostly older posts from back when there were enough pro Kimkins voices to legitimately use the word debate.

The Science of Wearing Red

RED

Hard science has demonstrated that wearing red is consistently associated with a higher probability of winning in sporting events. Seeing a lot of red makes our hearts beat faster and according to at least one source, wearing red makes us appear heavier. Used in moderation, like say one medium sized image on a website landing page, red can be very eye-catching.

Astrology is not a real science, but I am going to include a short quote from an astrology site about people who like red. It is for entertainment purposes only:

A person who likes red can express many personality traits. The positive ones being passion, energy, and money making. The darker manifestations of those who favor reddish-brown colors can be addictions such as drugs, alcohol, eating disorders or emotional instability.

BlogTalkRadio: All I Hear is Talking

I am going to mention BlogTalkRadio even though every time that I give it a whirl, I have to turn away from it fairly quickly. I think that listening to audio conversations is just too time consuming and too distracting to fit into my lifestyle. Everyone is different, though and some people who are reading my blog might really enjoy some of the content that exists in both live and archived versions on BlogTalkRadio.

I found a New Year’s edition of a fitness and weight loss blogger’s broadcast in which he talks with the FlyLady. They take calls and they do a LOT of back patting and cheerleading. I love the Fly Lady. Her ideas have been a lifesaver, but I still don’t listen to her broadcasts.
