He who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client.

Heidi Diaz is officially without representation now that her lawyer has stepped away from the proceedings. I have been out of the loop for too long to offer any worthwhile commentary. Check out these blogs for some suppositions, predictions and explanations…

Blogs can serve as a promotional tool for various professionals. Many readers of Kimkins Controversy check with the blog of a certain Los Angeles area PI from time to time. Pictured above is Dmitry Gorin. He maintains a Los Angeles Criminal Defense Attorney Blog | California Criminal Law Forum. He offers his expert commentary on some high profile cases and he also writes about various defense strategies, citing past cases as examples. Dmitry Gorin is a former Los Angeles Prosecutor, and in addition to his current law practice, he lectures at UCLA.

Woody Guthrie wrote a song about a Philidelphia lawyer. Tom Hanks won an Oscar for his portayal of a Philidelphia lawyer. I am writing a post about a Philidelphia lawyer.

MWSDLegal.com is a site maintained by a group of personal injury lawyers in PA. I was pleased to see that their landing page reads more like a legal argument and less like an online sales letter. The important things worth noting are that they work on contingency and they are very competent and experienced with regard to advising a client upon receipt of a settlement offer. Kevin Weinstein and Christopher Moyer both have impressive credentials.

This episode of the Dick Van Dyke show is called Never Name a Duck.

Professional affiliate marketer Wouter Van Dyke has done what most pros do with sites that market products that have had the new wear off. He has moved on and ceased working on Kimkins Review but he has left it on autopilot so that it can still potentially generate some revenue. Some Kimkins critics have tried to convince him to remove the fraudulent claims from the site, using the argument that he is at risk of civil or legal action. Wouter is probably correct in his assumptions about the situation. The old TV show has two opening credit scenes, the one shown above and also one in which Van Dyke deftly walks around the ottoman.

LA Lawyers

Pictured here are the lawyers from Kestenbaum, Eisner & Gorin, LLP. They are experienced and aggressive criminal defense attorneys. Los Angeles Criminal Defense Attorney | California Felony Misdemeanor DUI Specialists with a combined 50 years of experience. All three partners put in time on the other side of the courtroom as prosecutors, so they know quite intimately how the government puts together a case. This kind of experience is invaluable when they are mounting an aggressive defense for a client. I was surprised to read that every case gets the direct attention of one of the three partners. You may be quite used to the idea of having legal work done in its entirety by secretaries and paralegals and them simply passing the work briefly over the desk of a lawyer. Serious criminal defense doesn’t work that way.
