A few diet vLoggers have started adding kimkins as a keyword to unrelated videos, which is fine. This is how I discovered YvesMetamorphosis. Her weight loss journey is not a remarkable success or failure. She is not selling anything. What makes her channel worth mentioning is just the fact that it is a very public accounting of her 10 week effort. I wish her well.

You can use the site to help you track your progress, whether your goal is weight loss or muscle gain.

You can create a training plan and input your statistics and your results. Your FitReach account can also serve up a great way to manage your diet. In the information age, we have a lot of information at our fingertips with regard to diet and fitness. There are enough trusted sources and review sites out there to help you separate the good info from the bad if you do a little homework. Knowing how to lose weight and/or get fit is not the issue with most of us. As often as not we fail to stick to perfectly good plans because we lack the motivation or the organization. Tools like FitReach help people firm up a plan and stick to it. Your progress is visible to other FitReach members, if you choose to make it visible.

Creating a FitReach profile is quick and easy. Getting fit and/or losing weight is not quick and easy, but anything that you can do to keep yourself on track is worth looking into.

There is good news this morning. A medical study has concluded that moderate weight loss in overweight adults improves heart health. It further indicated that the benefit was there whether you chose diet, exercise or a combination. The best part of this is that benefits are immediate and apparent. People who know that they need to lose several pounds do not seem to take late onset diabetes and high blood pressure as a call to action. If you are conclusively told that you will feel younger if you lose weight, is that enough motivation?

I just finished reading through a post about weightless workouts over at www.weightloss-hq.biz and I was so inspired that I actually tried a few exercises right on the spot. Just to be practical, I used laundry folding as my warmup. The weightless workouts described by Kenny aim to achieve muscle overload rather than muscle exhaustion. If I had exhausted my chest muscles rather than overloading them, I might not be typing this post right now. As it is I am feeling the heat, and I am almost but not quite sore.

Exercise that does not require special equipment or trips to the gym are a great way for dieters to maintain or increase muscle mass.

WeightLoss-HQ.biz has a lot of information about various weight loss strategies and from what I have seen they appear to be well balanced reviews. For example, when there are pharmaceuticals for which weight loss is an off-label use that has not been FDA approved the reviewer was very forthright about it. Personally, I wouldn’t be interested in going that route.

Slinglings are a brandname baby sling. I like the idea of a baby sling. They help people form a close bond with their child. You can even get organic cotton slings that are the best choice for the environment of any baby carrying device.

This kind of child transporting device has been in use for a long time in many cultures. The key advantages of the sling for modern lifestyles are basically the disadvantages of carriages. You don’t have to deal with folding up a carriage and putting it in the trunk of your car. Your baby is close to you at all times. Once you are proficient in the safe use of a sling, you have your hands free.

They do not allude in any way to what the stuff actually does. Cleansing involves a lot of pooping. That is not hinted at even once. Maybe Disney Corporation likes to pretend that pooping doesn’t exist due to the fact that Donald Duck is walking around with no pants on. I had a pet duck once. Ducks poop.

I read a fascinating article the other day about a scientific experiment. Basically the scientists surveyed a large group of hotel maids to determine what their impressions were with regard to how much exercise was involved in their work. The impressions were surprisingly inaccurate.

Phase two involved studying a control group and a group that had been given an informational session related to their physical activity. They were told how many calories were burned by various tasks, what the effects were on their cardiovascular fitness, etc.

The experimenters eventually got a bunch of data and concluded that the maids who were more conscious about the exercise benefits actually were healthier. The mind is so powerful, it’s kinda freaky.

Using self hypnosis to help you make positive changes in your life is a bit similar to this effect. The website at http://www.instant-hypnosis.com sells downloads of some very specific hypnosis sessions. One that interested me was called Crave Healthy Foods. Some people respond very strongly to hypnotic suggestion and others don’t. Luckily, these downloads come with a money back guarantee.

Why market smart weight loss to idiots? The company that owns the site, Internet Made Simple, is associated with Clickbank. Selling stuff to idiots is what they do. The information in the weight loss eBook may be useful, but I am not going to buy it to find out.
