Small Changes
January 4, 2008 on 12:04 pm | In Life, Diet, Exercise, Health |I am thinking of giving up one particular foodstuff that is convenient, delicious and economical. These aren’t reasons to forsake it, the reason is the saturated fat content. I am presently trying to maintain my current weight. I have been a part of so many family chats about blood cholesterol in recent months that I am thinking that I should make proactive changes to my diet before I bite the bullet and go to get a test.
I am embarrassed to admit that I have never had my blood cholesterol tested. The people that sell cholesterol tests say that everyone over 20 should have regular tests. The AHA is advocating public screenings. Getting a test is easy, but I have been putting it off for years. I am writing this post as a way of pushing myself to do it.

I thought saturated fat was turning out not to be as bad as all the grain-pushers once thought? Maybe look for some info at Dr. Eades blog.
