Safety Training

December 14, 2007 on 7:47 pm | In Employment |

Puresafety.com is an online resource for a company that provides OSHA construction safety training. I have been a part of safety committees in a couple of different work environments in the past. One of these was a sawmill. Sawmills are very hazardous workplaces. I worked there for ten years and I left under pleasant circumstances and with ten fingers.

Taking safety seriously and receiving proper training while in an industrial setting may have deprived me of a good excuse for my four finger typing, but I am grateful just the same. Quality safety training is not only the right thing to do, it can also save your company money by reducing property damage, insurance costs and lost time. PureSafety provides an online OSHA 10-Hour outreach program for Construction and General Industry for $139 per student. The advantages of an online course include the ability of the employer to track employee progress whenever they wish from any computer. Employees can also review coursework at home.
