Who Is Kimmer?

The tech guys who work so tirelessly on Kimkins.com need to be a bit more thorough with their updating. A link called Who is Kimmer that appears under the main description of the site on the somewhat popular search engine called Google leads to this:

Click on the image to see it full size. I am worried about how people are still being misled by the lady in the red dress. Kimmer AKA Heidi Diaz did NOT lose 198 lbs.

There are no links to these fraudulent pages on the homepage of Kimkins.com, but they still show up in searches. The responsible thing for the webmaster would have been to delete the pages completely.

Avoid Weight Gain Over the Holidays

This is a first for this blog in that it is largely unrelated to Kimkins. I just wanted to mention the issue of emotional eating during the holidays. For some people who are trying to lose weight, this pattern is almost like a separate issue from what they may have already tackled with a new ‘way of eating.’

ShrinkYourself.com has a free Holiday Survival Guide online. It’s one of those question and answer things that makes you deal with your issues. Don’t wait until your mother in law is knocking on the front door to start dealing.

Fox Television’s Editing of the Kimkins Story

I was reviewing the voiceover for the Kimkins Expose produced by FOX and I noticed some subtle ways in which factual inaccuracies were made for the sake of the narrative. They were inconsequential and easy to miss for anyone not intimately acquainted with the facts. Basically some assumptions were made when the writers were ‘livening up’ the story. They involve the chronology and some cause and effect statements about small details of the story.

They did a reasonably good job of condensing the saga for the Morning TV audience.

When is a Review Not a Review?

When it’s Kimkins Review.  A die hard but faceless affiliate of Kimkins updated his/her website on the 15th of November with some vague gobbledygook.  This was obviously done to get the false claim comfortably below the jump on the landing page.

Yes, Kimkins Review still trumpets the false claim that Kimmer lost 198 pounds in 11 months.  This lie was posted on September 18th and as of today it is still on the site.  Whoever is responsible for this must still be getting checks in the mail.  Maybe someone should slip a REALITY CHECK into the next envelope.

Heidi Diaz Admits That She is Kimmer

Now that Heidi Diaz has decided that “it’s time to come clean” and admit that she is, in fact, Kimmer.

Kimmer says she lost 100 pounds in six months at some point in the past.  She doesn’t say when.  She would like us to believe that she has just relapsed and “regained the weight.”  However, the fact is that she has never been the 118-pound woman who effortlessly lost all her weight and kept it off for years.  What good is Kimkins if even Kimmer gained back all the weight and more?  Furthermore, it’s pretty obvious that the “current” picture she has on her website now has been doctored to make her look smaller.  Doctored or not, the obese, middle-aged woman the picture shows is nothing like the lovely fake Kimmers we’ve seen in the past.

Kimkins Scam Exposed on National Television

Fox’s national morning show, The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, profiled Kimkins as part of their diet scam expose series yesterday.  The Morning Show brought a doctor and nutritionist on for their opinions.  Former administrators Christin and Deni told their stories about the fraud and their issues with the diet.  Jeannie Baitinger (TippyToes) and Delaney (Singinglass at Kimkins, an admin who has done most of the banning when people have asked questions about Kimmer) also appeared.  The biggest bombshell is that Jeannie announced that Heidi is, indeed, Kimmer.  After hearing the thinly-veiled disgust in Tippy’s voice when viewing the Heidi Diaz surveillance tape (”look at the woman”) don’t you wonder how long Tippy will be employed by Heidi?

Jimmy Moore recorded the segment and uploaded it to YouTube.  Watch it now:
