But, as a Christian who has studied God’s word for
many years, I am confused.

We need to back up what God “says” in Scripture so
we aren’t confused that it is really US speaking to ourselves or that it is the “dark one” speaking to us.

God is all about health. He doesn’t want us to starve ourselves or purge ourselves for vanity.
This is totally against his will. Our bodies are temples and we should be good stewards of them.
When we are overweight, that is also abusing the body as is extreme undereating so that we are sick. This has happened to many people who have followed Kimmer’s advice as well as her paid staff
and affiliates.

While I appreciate that Deni is only going to give
healthy advice (whatever that may be), she is still associating with the one who gives unhealthy
advice. God does hold Deni responsible if anyone gets sick on the advice that Deni gives. But, the scarey thing is that Deni will be held responsible
for the rest of the people who have health problems on Kimmers advice. Deni now knows this
is an unhealthy diet and that people have gotten sick. She has purposefully linked herself up with
Kimmer. The Bible says not to be “unequally yoked”. If she doesn’t totally agree with Bootcamp, etc., then she should flee like crazy!
Otherwise, she will be held to the same judgment
as Kimmer..

However, it’s also apparent in her comment, that Deni is not taking public scrutiny and criticism very well. For her sake, I hope she develops a thicker skin because like it or not, this is all part of “being in the limelight” and being a willing part of “leadership” for something this controversial. With that leadership, comes responsibility and accountability to others…and no, it’s not always going to be sunshine and rainbows. I hope she seriously reconsiders as to whether it’s worth it to her to endure continuing public scrutiny and criticism, because I’m sure this won’t be the last of it.

Wow, hypocritical much, Deni?

You also don’t know that when I first met her in the chat room I was very strong in my statements about my concern for her decisions to do this. I made it a big deal that her mother should be informed, and she told me her mother was 100% behind it and was even doing it herself. I also took it upon myself to constantly check up on her to look for any signs of depression or out of control behavior, and discussed her with other moderators. We can’t control WHO gets in, but we can be like “mothers” and try to encourage the young girls who do need to lose weight. We even tell them to add fruits and milk to the plan, and if I saw her looking too skinny or acting extreme at all I would be the first to confront her about it.
It really upsets me that so many people are not really looking at the whole picture here.. people who don’t KNOW me at all, and aren’t even interested in knowing me are just trying to find a controversy to expose. It’s insulting and hurtful if you want to know the truth.

IN regards to that teen… I am proud of her.. she looks great and is happy and she didn’t get obsessed or anorexic or bulimic or wallow in self pity… she took her size 17 self and got healthy and fit. What would you have me do.. ignore her and shun her?

The real issue is if a teen who was in the normal weight range or under weight range wanted to attempt Kimkins to lose a quick 5 pounds.. I would NOT support that.. and I would be quick to contact Kimmer and suggest that her membership be pulled. But.. I haven’t seen that happen! And, I still say I don’t RECOMMED it for teens on my blog… because I don’t! My blog is out there in “non member” areas.. and sometimes people sign up because of my blog… I put that there because I realized I had never announced that, and I don’t want any teens to sign up because of me. But.. for the ones that are already there.. if they are hurting and seeking help.. I will be there to monitor them.

So, please.. don’t just copy and paste 1 of my many posts and attempt to make me look like a liar. I am telling the WHOLE truth and nothing but the truth so help me GOD… you are merely telling a tidbit.
